SuperSonic 70’s are a totally live 6 piece 70’s tribute theatre show
with both male & female lead vocals

Featuring the incredible Cat Suited Wondergirl Janey Bombshell, arguably one of the finest female singers in the UK. Janey adds some real “Agnetha glamour” alongside co-lead vocalist Mark Keen, singing sensation from The Blunter Brothers & Boogie Wonderland.

Musicians include guitarist Greg Hart, who has played with bands such as Asia, Mike Oldfield, & Limehouse Lizzy plus Ultravox & Boogie Wonderland bassist Gary Williams, ex Limehouse Lizzy drummer Andy Fox & the wizardry of keyboardist/Vocoder Andy Stewart, who has been musical director on many top theatre productions, and is the grandson of the late great Arthur Askey!

Since 2010 the show has already been a hit at some of the most prestigious of venues, and they have literally whipped up a seventies sea of nostalgia to ecstatic fans wherever they play. Where the women sing along to every word, and the men air guitar at will. It really is one huge 70s party and by the end everyone is up and dancing in the aisles – yes it is that kind of show! The show has been described by many venues as the “finest 70s tribute show in years”, with Janey Bombshell & Mark’s extraordinary vocals in particular being described as “West End quality”.

With a set list boasting an impressive range to suit all ages, with the emphasis on great hit songs from this golden era of music, the SuperSonic 70’s Show show will take you down memory lane with some of the biggest classic hits from the 70s, many that most bands would not dare to attempt! From the towering majesty of Queen, John Miles, The Carpenters & ELO, the band also perform stunning renditions of chart toppers by 10cc, Wings, Andrew Gold, & Donna Summer’s epic ‘Macarthur Park’ . These are just some of the highlights in this pop packed show that also includes the ultimate Pop Pin-Up tunes to get people up and dancing. From David Essex, Abba, Sweet, Suzi Quatro, Boney M, The Osmonds, David Cassidy, Elton John, Kiki Dee, T.Rex , & Olivia Newton John, and not forgetting the Bay City Rollers, you cannot help but join in the fun!

The band’s highly energetic and visual presentation is completed with genuine 70s costumes with all the glitz and blitz you would expect from this colourful era of denim, satin & leather. Completed with visuals, backdrop, & original Chopper bikes (stage size allowing), this show really is not to be missed.

“So come join the band in their travelling 70s time machine, back to the days when pop really was at its peak!”
